Board & Train Program

Our board and train programs are tailored around the dog and owner team. Each provide an individualized training program that best reflects the needs and goals of the dog. These are perfect for owners who do not have the time to put into consistent training. Let us lay the foundation of a great dog, put the training hours in, and socialize your dog.

Dogs in these programs live in our home with us, not in a kennel environment. They spend their time training, hanging out, and exploring our property. Our home is a busy one; with two children, cats, chickens, and 6 personal dogs. Your dog will be put on a crate and rotate schedule and interact with us in ways that are appropriate for your dog’s temperament and their training goals.

With extensive knowledge and experience in dog behavior and social interactions, we only allow healthy interactions between dogs we know will get along. This will help teach your dog how to communicate with other dogs, how to be neutral and not interact with every dog they see, and to be calm and well-adjusted.

Since our training style is heavily relationship based and uses positive reinforcement to learn, most programs are 3-6 weeks long. This allows us to build a relationship, make training fun, and avoid correction-heavy learning.

We accept a maximum of 2 dogs each day in our board and train programs. This gives every dog enough attention, exercise, and mental stimulation.

All programs include:

Not sure which board and train program is right for you? Schedule an evaluation with us, so we can make a recommendation based on your dog and your training goals. If a board and train is scheduled after the evaluation, the cost of the evaluation is subtracted from the board and train.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. The remaining balance is due at the start of the board and train.

Three Week Program

This program is geared to puppies under 7 months and will focus on basic obedience, in-home behaviors, confidence building, socialization/exposure, crate training, and potty-training.

This program includes three lessons; one during the last week, one at pick-up, and one within the first month after completion.
An additional week can be purchased when the puppy is older for e-collar training.

Price: $1800

Four Week Program

This program is geared towards dogs needing obedience training, off leash training, and mild behavioral issues such as counter surfing, jumping when greeting, and some mild fear in new places.

Dogs will be trained on basic obedience, loose-leash walking, in-home behaviors, public behaviors and obedience, e-collar conditioning, and off leash behaviors.

This program includes three lessons; one during the last week, one at pick-up, and one within the first month after completion.

Price: $2300

Five Week Program

This program is geared towards dogs with behavioral issues such as fear, anxiety, dog reactivity, human reactivity or fear aggression.

Dogs will work on the skills included in the other board & train programs with a heavy focus on behavior modification. This program does include e-collar conditioning and off-leash training.
